Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) will raise the minimum wage to RM1,700 for its 34,000 employees, making it the first GLC to do so as part of Budget 2025. Celebrating TNB’s 75th anniversary, Anwar praised TNB’s commitment to employee welfare, urged its future role as an ASEAN energy hub, and emphasized balancing profit with environmental responsibility.
