1. Putra Heights inferno: PERKESO to compensate affected members

PERKESO will compensate 15 contributors affected by the Putra Heights blaze that destroyed 12 shop lots. Human Resources Minister Steven Sim confirmed eligibility under the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme and the Employees Social Security Act 1969. The fire, believed to have started in a restaurant, caused RM1 million in damage. No casualties were reported, and investigations are ongoing.
