 1.     Anwar clarifies status of ex-Sabah Ports staff

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim clarified that no new benefits would be provided to 165 Sabah Ports Authority retirees claiming funds under the Retirement Benefit Scheme (RBS). A 2010 High Court ruling dismissed their claims, citing the principle of res judicata. Employer contributions were transferred to KWAP as per the law, with no employee contributions involved.
