1. Fight between colleagues leads to murder in Tawau

In Tawau, Sabah, a 33-year-old undocumented male farm laborer fatally attacked a colleague with a machete following a dispute on January 5, 2025. Police discovered the victim with head wounds at a farmhouse in Merotai Besar. The suspect was arrested, and the case is under investigation for murder and immigration violations.
